Description

Conducts physical security surveys of buildings and offices, as well as any IT environments. Maintains maximum protection of classified and/or sensitive information. Participates in performance of comprehensive security surveys. Ensures all new equipment meets security criteria. Coordinates all testing of new electronic equipment with both technical and operational staff. Provides written technical analysis of purchasing, installing and testing of all new equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of experience providing cyber security and engineering support. Understands the process to identify multiple variations of malware, intrusions, and cyber attacks. Has specific experience with threat mitigation, ethical hacking and advanced persistent threat functionality and design. Has extensive knowledge of common cyber security preventive measures for an enterprise environment. Works with OSI Models, FISMA standards and FIPS-140-2 requirements. Advanced knowledge of IP, TCP/IPv5 and IPv6 network traffic and protocol routing concepts. Has some experience working in commercial and federal network/security operations centers.

Maintains at least one of the following current certifications:
Security+, CEH, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CAP, ISSEP, ISSAP

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering. Alternatively, applicants without a four-year degree, may substitute an additional four years of experience in a related field.
